Blanca Romero, former SEK-El Castillo student is taking part in MiMUN 2019 as president of the Human Rights Council, one of the model committees. Last year, she also took the role of president for UN Women at MiMUN 2018 and that is why she wanted to participate again this year.
Blanca has been doing United Nations Models throughout her whole degree, both in Spain and in the US and Canada. She started doing models in her first year of Baccalaureate at SEK-El Castillo and in her second year she was an Authority in the SEKMUN General Assembly.
Right now, she is in her fifth year of the joint degree of International Relations and Translation and Interpretation at the Universidad Pontifica Comillas. Without a doubt, and in Blanca’s own words “my experience in SEKMUN greatly influenced the choice of my degree and my professional future, which is why it seems so important to promote these models to the new generations of UCJC or any other university”.
