The Spanish football team called up four former SEK Education Group students to be part of the squad playing at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Dani Carvajal, a Real Madrid player; Álvaro Morata and Marcos Llorente, Atlético de Madrid players; and Pablo Sarabia, a Paris Saint Germain player.
Carvajal and Sarabia are former students on the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (CCAFYD) at UCJC and, in addition, they completed their school studies at SEK-El Castillo, like Álvaro Morata and Marcos Llorente, also called up by Luis Enrique Martínez, the Spanish national coach.
These four footballers, along with the remaining twenty-two playing for ‘La Roja’ in this championship, made their début on Wednesday, 23 November, against Costa Rica. The following match was against Germany on 27 November, closing the group stage of the World Cup on Thursday, 1 December, against Japan.
